OCC is beginning the Re-Entry process for Sunday worship service.
A Letter from our Pastor.
OCC Family,
Let me first say how grateful I am for your patience during this difficult and painful season of COVID-19. Your response as a church family to pull together has been nothing short of incredible. I want to say thank you for your faithfulness to the Lord during the last 9 weeks. In addition, I am grateful for the way that you have supported and encouraged myself and one another.
It has been great to see God take this tough time of not gathering in-person and turn our new online services into a fantastic online outreach. We have averaged over 4,000 views of each Sunday online service! . Our inclusion of online services will continue every Sunday. So if you are uncomfortable at all with attending service, join in online!
I pray that all the new things God has taught, and continues to teach us through this pandemic, will not stop because we are now readying ourselves to resume in-person worship.
When will Sunday church service resume and what will it look like?
Sunday morning services at Owingsville Christian Church start back this Sunday, May 24th at 10:45am.
We will have many accommodations in place that you will notice, including:
Those identified as vulnerable are highly discouraged from attending in-person services.
The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) defines vulnerable populations as:
While we look forward to the day that our services feel the same, at first, we will see and feel the impact of the virus when we gather for worship. We are modifying as much as we can to mitigate the spread of the virus and keep our facilities clean and safe.
There will be face masks, gloves, and a ton of hand-sanitizer but we hope it will still feel like coming home when you walk back in the doors of our beautiful church!
See you at church or online!
