We’re excited to launch Celebrate Recovery at Owingsville Christian Church — a Christ-centered, 12-step recovery program for anyone struggling with hurt, pain, addiction, or life-controlling issues of any kind. Whether you’re battling substance abuse, anger, anxiety, trauma, codependency, or past wounds, Celebrate Recovery offers a safe place to heal, grow, and experience God’s grace.
What is Celebrate Recovery?Celebrate Recovery (CR) is a nationally recognized ministry based on the Beatitudes from Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount. It helps people find freedom from habits, hang-ups, and hurts through a structured step-by-step discipleship process grounded in biblical truth and the power of Jesus Christ.
At OCC, we believe everyone has a story. And God wants to redeem yours!
Who Is It For?CR isn’t just for those struggling with drug or alcohol addiction. It’s for anyone dealing with anxiety, grief, people-pleasing, anger, control issues, pornography, depression, family dysfunction, or broken relationships. If something is weighing you down or keeping you from the life God intends for you, Celebrate Recovery is for you.
What to Expect:
- A welcoming and judgment-free environment
- Large-group worship and teaching
- Gender-specific small group sharing
- Step study groups for deeper healing
- Confidentiality and support from others who understand
